LinkedIn has come to terms with Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans, and Zoom to let users easily add video meeting links to their private conversations. You won’t be able to host the meeting on LinkedIn. LinkedIn only facilitates sharing a video meeting link from an integrated third-party provider’s app or website.
Click on the video meeting link in private conversations to join a meeting. You’ll have to sign into the video meeting provider’s app or website or create an account if you don’t have one. LinkedIn says over 60 percent of members want to use video meetings on LinkedIn for networking.
This new video-calling functionality via LinkedIn DMs is now available globally.
